The debut of the Angels Flight • literary west Salon Series at Clifton’s was so special. The need to come together in community and resistance, in celebration, still, in this darkness, in the rain, was illuminated. Together, we write, we read, we talk, we touch, we create change, we hope. Together. We do.

Thank you, Dana Johnson and David Kukoff, for spectacular readings from their new books and for a deep conversation about writing on different decades in Los Angeles. Thank you, Alan Rifkin, Sherilyn Lee, Rachael Warecki, Mike Sonksen aka Mike the PoeT and our special guest, Matt Powell, for sharing their diverse, fictional, personal stories and poems touching on Los Angeles. And thank you to Dora Dalton, our talented copy editor, for her support.
